The Gifford Park Association Annual House Tour is a tour of the historically and/or architecturally significant homes in Elgin, Illinois. The House Tour was held September Sept. 6 and 7, 2003. The House Tour encompassed the Division Street section in the northeast area of Elgin, where the houses range from simple cottages to grand mansions, Italianate to Bungalow.

Tour highlights include:

	159 Hill - Fabulous American Bungalow with stunning woodwork, classic built-ins and rich, expansive interior.
	384 Division - Classic Prairie Style home with hidden gardens now unearthed and unusual original bathroom fixtures.
	21 N. Porter - A charming Victorian, formerly a rundown 2-unit converted back to a neighborhood beauty
	396 Division - Amercian Foursquare was used by a not-for-agency until the mid-90s, home retains incredibly detailed woodwork & original cabinets
	140 N. Gifford - This Italianate Villa is a former rundown six-unit now converted into a 3,000 square-foot, single-family showcase

	273 College - Victorian with hand-painted ceilings, original woodwork and no detail overlooked
	40 N. Gifford - Former rundown eyesore rennovated by the GPA and filled with rich woodwork and cottage charm
	564 Division - Inviting Victorian with beautiful front staircase, and loads of antiques
	41 N. Gifford - Former David C. Cook mansion, now Bowes Retirement Home, retains unbelievable high-Victorian architecture

Two of this year's homes in the Elgin Historic District were rehab projects funded by the Gifford Park Association or GPA. GPA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit neighborhood association.
